Are you a teenager who is interested in helping out at Camp Dixie this summer? Do you want to learn more about leadership, and get a taste of what it takes to be a camp counselor? Do you want to have a great time at Camp Dixie in more of a leadership role? If any of the previous statements sound interesting you you, the Camp Dixie Youth Leadership Team is just what you have been looking for.

        The Youth Leadership Team's focus is on the leadership skills and activities that will help participants as they leave Camp Dixie and return to their schools, homes, and jobs.

        Camp Dixie's Youth Leadership Team is a vital part of our Summer program. YLT members will assist the counselors in daily responsibilities during camp and with the campers. YLT members spend a week (or two) free of charge at camp, however it shouldn't be considered a vacation. There are many activities that the YLT will assist with, but the most important role for a YLT member is being a solid Christian role model for the campers. It’s also a great way to grow in your own faith. And it’s fun! YLT members will participate in their own Bible Studies, which examine Biblical leadership, and how we can translate that to our everyday lives.

       Activities YLT members participate in include large group game leadership, campfires, sports, spiritual growth, swimming, archery, and many many more! YLT members may also assist with meal preparation and cleaning. High School and College aged people are welcome to apply!

       When you are a YLT member  you will work closely with the counselors and campers to complete day-to-day responsibilities.  To apply you can get the form below.
