Sam Schmidt

Ayla and I were born and raised in Indiana, where we met as campers at Lakeview Ministries, a nearby Lutheran summer camp. We later served as junior staff and summer staff, and following our graduation from college, we both served full-time at Camp Concordia in Michigan. We are grateful to God for providing me with the opportunity to serve as Camp Director at Camp Dixie. We are excited to utilize the skills God has given us to serve His kingdom. I am aware that Camp Dixie holds a special place in the hearts of many, and we are thrilled to join the community and be a part of the fun!
