Why Fundraising?

1. The Camp Dixie Lutheran Foundation is on a mission. As a not-for-profit ministry, it works to raise funds each year to keep costs low and quality experiences high at Camp Dixie. Quality experiences require the best staff - and that costs. Good and safe equipment costs, so join the fun!
2. In 2025, Camp Dixie summer camper fees paid for about 75% of Base Costs. Base Costs cover utilities, year round staff salary, maintenance, etc. Giving to the Camp Dixie Lutheran Foundation helps make Camp Dixie strong!

STRONG

The Camp Dixie Lutheran Foundation has been key in enabling Camp Dixie programs to serve Jesus by working with children and youth since 1952. Thousands of campers spend time in God's Word through exciting and adventurous outdoor experiences. Perdido Bay shouts God's glory and Camp Dixie staff facilitate and influence campers in their relationship with Jesus Christ.

Campers enjoy swimming, archery, team activities, canoeing, soccer, Bible adventures, worship and campfires. Parents shout how valuable a week at camp is for their children in their growth as a child of God with a strong faith base - now!

ABLE

The abilities depend on the facilities. We're always upgrading and repairing; air conditioners, new mattresses, repair work to sofits and facias, keeping camp well maintained, keeps camp safe and able.
